Overview Recently, the United States Naval Academy approved the addition of an important and valuable extracurricular activity for outstanding midshipmen to participate in a skydiving program. Beginning as early as Fall 2008, participants will demonstrate jumps in highly visible venues ranging from major sporting events such as pre-game football festivities, pep rallies, national competitions to photo shoots for magazines. With more than thirty thousand people in attendance at these competitions and exhibitions, Sponsors would have a tremendous opportunity not only benefit from the publicity at these events, but show their support of the Academy’s exciting new program. As part of recognizing your valued financial support to the Naval Academy’s Skydiving Team, the midshipmen will proudly wear Sponsors’ logos on their gear. Your tax deductible donation is critically important for the success of the program. By obtaining sponsors to offset the cost it allows the team to achieve it’s full potential. 2. Proposal a. Make tax deductible donations to the Navy Skydiving Team and in return midshipmen will wear sponsors’ logos on their gear. b. With the extreme expense for skydiving, it is vital for midshipmen to gain sponsorship in order for the team to exist and run to its’ full potential. 3.
